The Uniview IPC3638SE-ADZKMC-WP-I1-BLACK is the black-housing version of the IPC3638SE-ADZKMC-WP-I1, an 8MP turret network camera with a motorised lens running from 2.8 to 12 mm, so the view can be set to suit the scene rather than being fixed at one focal length.

What the IPC3638SE-ADZKMC-WP-I1-BLACK is for

The lens range gives a horizontal field of view from 111.5° at 2.8 mm down to 54.1° at 12 mm. Uniview's DORI distances run from 63.0 m to 270.0 m to detect and from 6.3 m to 27.0 m to identify, wide to tele. That range helps where the working distance is not known exactly.

It has dual light, 850 nm infrared and warm light, each to 30 m, and is rated IP67, IK10 and NEMA 4X for outdoor use (working range -40 to 60 degrees C). Minimum illumination is 0.0005 lux in colour at F1.2. The black finish suits dark fascias and soffits where a white camera would stand out.

Tri-Guard appears in the datasheet title. The rows list line crossing, intrusion, area enter and leave detection, with false alarm filtering and classification of human, non-motor vehicle and vehicle.

What you will need

Supply PoE (IEEE 802.3af) from a PoE switch or an NVR's built-in PoE ports, or 12 V DC through the Ø5.5 mm coaxial plug; maximum draw is 7.0 W. Use a network cable for the run. For recording, add a compatible NVR with surveillance hard drives, or a microSD card of up to 512 GB. Neither is supplied.
