The Uniview IPS302015-S is a 15 W network horn speaker that connects over Ethernet, with a maximum sound pressure of 122 dBSPL, a built-in microphone and an IP66 housing.

What the IPS302015-S is for

It is for broadcasting announcements, alarm messages and live speech over an IP network, for example to deter intruders when a camera event triggers. Uniview lists regular, live and alarm broadcast, two-way audio and SIP, ONVIF, RTSP and RTP integration.

Up to 100 audio files (MP3 or WAV, 64 MB storage) can be held on the speaker. It has 2 alarm inputs and an RCA audio input for sound amplification (not intercom). The ABS housing is rated IP66 and works from -30°C to 55°C.

What you will need

Power it from a PoE (IEEE 802.3af) port on a PoE switch, or a local DC supply (DC 12 V/1.4 A). Run network cable to the RJ45 10/100 Mbps port. Uniview IQ recorders list IP speaker support; see our NVRs.
