The Uniview DE3124-V2 (UNV-DE3124-V2) is a 24-bay disk enclosure with two controller modules, used to add drive capacity to compatible Uniview storage over Mini SAS HD.

What the UNV-DE3124-V2 is for

It connects back to the host storage through four primary 4 × 12 Gbps Mini SAS HD ports and four backup 2 × 12 Gbps Mini SAS HD ports, so large camera systems can expand recording capacity without replacing the host.

The chassis measures 482.0 × 589.0 × 175.0 mm, draws 270 W fully loaded and weighs under 40 kg with drives fitted. It runs from 100–127 V or 200–240 V AC and is rated for 5°C to 40°C, so it belongs in a server room or cabinet.

What you will need

A compatible Uniview host storage unit with Mini SAS HD expansion, Mini SAS HD cables and surveillance hard drives for the 24 bays; none are supplied. Allow rack space for the 482 × 589 × 175 mm chassis and an AC supply.
