DD10K - DECT USB Dongle for Yealink IP Phones

The Yealink DD10K is a small DECT USB dongle that adds DECT wireless capability to selected Yealink desk phones. Depending on the phone it is plugged into, it lets the desk phone act as a cordless DECT handset on a Yealink DECT IP base station, or as a DECT base station for compatible Yealink handsets.

What the DD10K is for

The DD10K lets you combine the features of a Yealink IP desk phone with DECT capabilities. In handset mode, a SIP-T41S, SIP-T42S or SIP-T54W works alongside a Yealink DECT system after pairing with a W60B, W70B, W80B or W90B base station. In base station mode, a SIP-T53, T53W, T54W, T57W, T58W, T58A or VP59 can register up to four compatible Yealink handsets. This DECT adapter for VoIP phones is a way to add cordless handsets to an existing Yealink IP phone.

What you will need

The DD10K needs a compatible Yealink desk phone. Yealink states that the SIP-T41S and SIP-T42S need firmware 66.82.0.35 or later and the SIP-T58A needs firmware V83 or later. For handset mode you also need a Yealink W60B, W70B, W80B or W90B DECT IP base station; for base station mode you need compatible Yealink handsets (W52H, W56H, W53H, W73H, W78H, W57R or W59R). The datasheet lists several regional frequency bands (including 1880 - 1900 MHz for Europe); call us if you need to confirm the right version for your phones. Which Yealink phones does the DD10K work with?

Yealink lists the SIP-T41S, SIP-T42S and SIP-T54W for handset mode, and the SIP-T53, T53W, T54W, T57W, T58W, T58A and VP59 for base station mode. The SIP-T41S and SIP-T42S need firmware 66.82.0.35 or later, and the SIP-T58A needs firmware V83 or later.

What is the difference between handset mode and base station mode?

In handset mode the desk phone works with a Yealink W60B, W70B, W80B or W90B DECT IP base station. In base station mode the desk phone itself acts as the DECT base and can register up to four compatible Yealink handsets.
