The Yealink EHS60 is a wireless headset adapter, often called an electronic hook switch or EHS adapter, that sits between a Yealink DECT wireless headset (WH62 or WH63) and a compatible desk phone. Yealink lists the desk phones as Cisco, Avaya, Poly and Grandstream IP phones, and the adapter is plug and play.
What the EHS60 is for
With the adapter fitted, you can control calls from the wireless headset itself, so you do not need to lift the handset by hand. Yealink states that the headset can answer and hang up calls, and the manufacturer's description also mentions rejecting, holding and muting calls, switching between calls and adjusting volume. Incoming calls are signalled in the headset earpiece. It suits reception desks, call centres and other busy offices where staff move away from the desk during calls.

What you will need
A Yealink WH62 or WH63 wireless headset, and a desk phone from a brand Yealink lists for this adapter (Cisco, Avaya, Poly or Grandstream) with a headset port. Yealink states that the EHS60 supports Yealink wireless headsets only. Which of the supplied cables (A, B or C) you use depends on the phone brand. Compatibility with a particular phone model is not listed in the datasheet, so check the product page or call us before ordering.
