The Dahua DH-HAC-HDW1509TP-A-LED-POC-0280B-S2-Grey is a 5MP HDCVI eyeball camera fitted with a 2.8mm fixed lens, built-in microphone and Power over Coax (PoC) support, giving up to 40m of IR illumination and 120dB WDR for reliable detail in mixed lighting.
Who is HDCVI for?
HDCVI sends HD video over standard coax — ideal for upgrading an existing coax-cabled analogue system without rewiring, and for very long cable runs where the 100m IP limit is a problem.

What you will need
- A Dahua XVR/Penta-brid recorder to record and power this camera over coax — see our DVRs and XVRs range.
- Standard RG59 coax cable for video and, where PoC is not used, a separate 12V power run.
- A multi-way PSU if you are running several cameras from one power point.

Can I mix this with my existing analogue cameras?
Yes — a Penta-brid XVR accepts this HDCVI camera alongside existing analogue (CVBS) cameras on the same system, so you can upgrade gradually.
How far can I run the cable?
HDCVI keeps a stable HD signal over coax for much longer runs than IP allows, making it well suited to sites where the 100m Ethernet limit is a problem.
