Hikvision has launched ProAV, bringing its LED displays, WonderHub interactive displays and professional and commercial audio together into one audiovisual offering, managed through HikCentral and the HikMedio cloud. Announced on 5 August 2026, it's aimed at integrators fitting out classrooms, meeting rooms, receptions, shops and control rooms. Here's what's in ProAV, what the technology can do, and where it fits alongside CCTV.
ProAV is a portfolio rather than a single product. It groups Hikvision's audiovisual products into four areas:
Hikvision makes the core products in-house, so integrators can source the screens, controllers, audio and management software from one supplier rather than combining several brands.
An AV project is rarely difficult because of one product. It's difficult because of the joins: the screen from one brand, the audio from another, the control system from a third, and three lots of software to keep up to date. ProAV aims to reduce that by giving partners one portfolio and one management layer, from planning through installation to day-to-day running.
HikCentral is already Hikvision's main video management platform for larger CCTV systems, so ProAV fits naturally alongside security on the same site. A school or office can run cameras, access control and its displays under one family of management tools, and a control room can put live CCTV on a video wall driven by the same platform. For integrators already installing Hikvision security, it's a straightforward route into AV work for the same clients.
We supply Hikvision interactive flat panels for classrooms and meeting rooms, all 4K with Android 14 and 50-point touch:
Not sure which size? As a rough guide, 65-inch suits a small meeting room or huddle space, 75-inch a typical classroom or boardroom, and 86-inch a large classroom or training room where people sit further back. Brackets, OPS PC modules and screen-sharing accessories are in our monitors and displays category, and our Hikvision monitors and displays guide compares the range.
Hikvision has offered displays and audio for a while; ProAV is about packaging them so they're easier to specify and run together. For schools and offices that already use Hikvision cameras, it means one brand and one family of software across security and AV. The interactive panels are the easiest place to start.
Want help choosing an interactive display? Call 01902 902251 and we'll talk through the room, the size and the accessories you need. We ship nationally to England, Scotland and Wales.
What is WonderHub?
Hikvision's range of interactive displays for collaboration and presentation in classrooms, training spaces and offices.
What is the difference between HikCentral and HikMedio?
HikCentral manages devices locally on site; HikMedio brings selected management and content features to the cloud for single or multiple sites.
Do interactive flat panels need a separate PC?
No. The panels run Android 14 on their own. An optional OPS PC module can be added if you need Windows.
Can I show CCTV on a Hikvision video wall?
Yes. Video wall controllers and HikCentral can put live and recorded camera views onto LED and LCD walls in a control room.
