UNV-NVR516-128 — 128-Channel 16-Bay 3U NVR with RAID
The Uniview NVR516-128 is a 128-channel network video recorder in a 19-inch 3U rack chassis, with 16 SATA drive bays and RAID up to level 60.
What the UNV-NVR516-128 is for
It is aimed at large sites with many IP cameras and high storage needs. Incoming bandwidth is 512 Mbps, recording runs up to 12 MP, and RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 are supported with hot swap and N+1 hot spare. Two miniSAS ports and an eSATA port allow storage expansion.
Networking is four gigabit RJ45 ports and two 1000M SFP ports. Video output is two HDMI (up to 4K at 30 Hz) and one VGA, all independent, and two optional decoding cards add up to 12 HDMI outputs.

What you will need
Up to 128 IP cameras and PoE switches to power them, as the recorder has no PoE ports, plus network cable and a 19-inch rack with 3U free. Add up to sixteen surveillance hard drives, which are not included. Power is 100 to 240 V AC.

Does the HDMI output carry audio?
No. Uniview states HDMI audio output is not supported; audio output is 1-ch BNC.
