The Dahua DH-IPC-HDW3649QMP-S-IL-0280B-Black is a 6MP Smart Dual Light eyeball network camera fitted with a 2.8mm fixed lens. It combines IR and warm-light illumination with deep learning-based human and vehicle classification, giving clear colour images at night as well as in daylight.

Who is it for?

IP cameras carry video and PoE power over one Cat5e/Cat6 cable to a PoE NVR — ideal when cabling from scratch or wanting resolutions/analytics beyond coax. Frequently asked questions

Will this camera work with a non-Dahua NVR?

Yes — it supports ONVIF (Profile S, G, T and M), so it will connect to most third-party NVRs, though some Dahua-specific analytics may only be available with a Dahua recorder.

Does it need a separate power supply?

No, as long as your NVR or switch provides PoE (802.3af) the camera is powered over the same cable as the video; a 12VDC supply can also be used where PoE is not available.

How much storage will I need?

Storage depends on resolution, frame rate and how many cameras are recording continuously; the camera also supports a Micro SD card up to 512GB for local backup alongside NVR recording.

What is Smart Dual Light?

It combines an IR illuminator with a warm white LED, switchable automatically or manually, so the camera can deliver full-colour night images as well as standard black-and-white IR footage.
